While working in Wa, Mark Kwasi Ahumah Smith came across a Facebook post from a friend of his promoting Barcamp Wa 2018. At the time, he had heard of Barcamps through the Citi CBS, so he thought it was worth checking out. He attended his first Barcamp, made a lot of great friends, and volunteered for the next Barcamp Wa. A Barcamp in Ghana is a networking forum to bring people together for a day of learning, sharing, networking and mentoring. Barcamp Bolga 2024 is on Saturday, September 28 at the GNAT Hall, Bolgatanga, organized by the GhanaThink Foundation. The theme is Culture | Finance| Quality.y

GhanaThink Foundation is an organization based both in Ghana and the USA, which has successfully organized 120+ BarCamps in Ghana. BarCamp Bolga 2024 will be the 8th of its kind and it will showcase entrepreneurs and innovators in the Upper East region. Barcamps in Ghana feature mentoring by professionals or entrepreneurs as well as networking with like-minded individuals. There are lots of great group discussions through breakout sessions as well. During breakout sessions, I loved the debate and exchange of views by some individuals.  I was also so excited by the opportunity to network with various awesome individuals from various walks of life and the immerse positive impact it had on me all round.”
