The Summer School of the New Business Challenge has officially started
Today was the first day of Summer School in both Ghana and the Netherlands. 48 excited participants joined in both Accra and The Hague, to explore the business relation and opportunities between Ghana and the Netherlands. The day was filled with talks by experts like Gladys Ofei from the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ghana, Anne Katrien Dennissen from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency/Rijksdienst Voor Ondernemend Nederland, Maya Turolla from the African Studies Centre in Leiden, and Dr. Samuel Ntewusu from the Institute of African Studies of the University of Ghana Legon.
Each presentation gave the participants new insights into how the Netherlands and Ghana were growing together. In the afternoon the participants joined online and met their teammates from the other country. The team already fulfilled their first assignment together by getting to know each other and their motivation to join the New Business Challenge. Everyone ended the afternoon on a high note by testing their knowledge of both the Netherlands and Ghana Swipe to get a sneak peek of how it was in Accra
