AGRICO HUB SET TO EQUIP YOUTH IN THE BONO EAST REGION WITH MOBILE APP DEVELOPMENT
As part of their Entrepreneurship and Digitization program for 2021/2022, Agrico Hub is commencing a 6-Month Mobile App Development program.
The Program will include Mobile App Development training, Startup incubation, and employability for 30 unemployed youth including National Service personnel in the Bono East region. The training will commence on Monday 15th November 2021 at Agrico Hub Innovation Space.
The program is in partnership with Ghana Tech Lab with support from the MasterCard Foundation, Ministry of Communication and Digitization, and the World Bank under the Pathway to Sustainable Employment program.
The program is designed to train unemployed youth including women and a number of National Service Personnel.
At the end of the training, a section of the successful trainees would be assisted to transform their business ideas into a sustainable business with the aid of the skills acquired in Mobile App development. Others will also be placed in organizations to undergo a 2-months internship for them to gain practical experience in the field of work.
The program will not only help bridge the digital gap in the Bono East region but also create opportunities for the youth to either gain sustainable job opportunities from the skills learned or be supported to start their own businesses.
