Empowering Entrepreneurs: Ghana Hubs Network’s Visit to Australian High Commission
On September 26, 2023, a delegation from the Ghana Hubs Network led by the Board Director for Gender, Equity and Inclusion, Janat Issifu paid a courtesy call on the Australian High Commissioner, H.E Berenice Owen Jones
The delegation included the Board Director for Finance, George Antwi-Boasiako, the Ghana Hubs Network Administrator and two other members of the network
The delegation had a fruitful discussions about creating and strengthening collaboration between the Ghana Hubs Network and the Commission towards building the entrepreneurship ecosystem in Ghana
The Ghana Hubs Network explained the program focus of the over sixty members of the network and how each of these members across the country is designing initiatives towards creating jobs, building sustainable enterprises, ensuring inclusion and encouraging digital innovation
Her Excellency Berenice was excited about the efforts of the network towards improving the livelihood of marginalised groups in Ghana as that remains a priority to the commission. She added that the commission is opened to explore opportunities of partnership with the network going into the future
