Deborah Dzathor is the logistics lead for Barcamp Accra. She gushed: “Attending BarCamp Accra in 2015 was a turning point for me. I was an extremely shy and introverted person who struggled to express myself in public. Something about the BarCamp community piqued my interest, however. The atmosphere was contagious, and the people were incredibly welcoming and supportive. As I attended more BarCamp events, I noticed that I became more confident and open. The BarCamp community encouraged me to get out of my comfort zone and take on new challenges”.
