Ghana Startup Week 2025 Rescheduled as AGS Launches National Startup Visibility Drive
The Association of Ghana Startups (AGS) has officially announced the rescheduling of Ghana Startup Week 2025, previously set for 5th–8th November 2025, to new dates — Thursday, 27th to Friday, 28th November 2025. The event will still be held at the Accra Digital Centre, serving as the central hub for Ghana’s startup and innovation ecosystem.
According to AGS, the decision to reschedule forms part of a broader strategic effort to ensure a more impactful, inclusive, and value-driven experience for all participants, partners, and ecosystem stakeholders. The move comes after extensive consultations and engagements with key sponsors, partners, and ecosystem actors who share the organization’s vision of strengthening Ghana’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
A Platform for Innovation, Collaboration, and Growth
Over the years, Ghana Startup Week has evolved into a flagship national event celebrating the resilience, innovation, and creativity of Ghanaian entrepreneurs. It brings together startups, investors, development partners, policymakers, and business leaders to exchange ideas, explore opportunities, and forge partnerships that drive growth across sectors.
With the new schedule, AGS is committed to delivering an even more dynamic experience — one that amplifies startup visibility, expands collaboration, and deepens participation from all corners of the ecosystem.
Launch of the National Startup Visibility Drive
To build momentum ahead of the event, AGS has also launched a national Startup Visibility Drive — an awareness and engagement campaign designed to spotlight startups, partners, and ecosystem enablers across the country.
The Visibility Drive aims to create nationwide awareness of Ghana Startup Week 2025 while showcasing the stories, achievements, and innovations of Ghanaian entrepreneurs. It will include:
- Visits to startups and ecosystem partners across regions.
- Social media and digital campaigns promoting entrepreneurship success stories.
- Partner and ecosystem spotlights, recognizing contributors to Ghana’s innovation landscape.
- Community-led pre-event activities, connecting local founders and investors.
According to AGS, this initiative will serve as a unifying movement to celebrate innovation while fostering stronger collaboration among founders, investors, policymakers, and support organizations.
Strengthening Ghana’s Startup Ecosystem
Speaking on the rescheduling, AGS leadership emphasized that the decision was made in the best interest of the ecosystem. “Our goal is to create an event that not only celebrates entrepreneurship but also delivers lasting value to participants, partners, and the wider community. The additional time allows us to strengthen partnerships, enhance programming, and ensure every stakeholder benefits from this national platform,” the association stated.
The Association of Ghana Startups expressed its deep appreciation for the continued support, patience, and understanding of all stakeholders during this transition. The organization reaffirmed its commitment to making Ghana Startup Week 2025 a more engaging, inclusive, and transformative experience that aligns with Ghana’s vision for a thriving entrepreneurial future.
Looking Ahead
As preparations continue, AGS encourages all ecosystem actors — from startup founders and investors to innovation hubs, NGOs, and policymakers — to actively engage in the Visibility Drive and participate in Ghana Startup Week 2025.
The upcoming edition promises to be a milestone celebration of Ghana’s entrepreneurial spirit, showcasing how innovation, collaboration, and resilience continue to power Africa’s next generation of business leaders.
