Innohub Graduates 12 Entrepreneurs from its GrEEn Acceleration Programme
On Friday, Innohub hosted its final graduation ceremony for 12 entrepreneurs who participated in the 6-month GrEEn Acceleration Programme. The programme is designed to support mature, green businesses with business advisory services, environmental and social safeguard requirements, good manufacturing practices, and eco-friendly packaging.
Innohub partnered with the European Union in Ghana and the Embassy of the Netherlands in Ghana to provide funding for the programme. As a result, six businesses from the final cohort of the GrEEn Acceleration Programme received funding of over three hundred and ninety thousand cedis (GHS 390,030.00) to scale up their businesses and create jobs.
During the graduation ceremony, YESLI ICE, one of the GrEEn Acceleration beneficiaries, received GHS 10,000 from Innohub and @Wangara after winning a pitch competition. The funding will help YESLI ICE to further develop its business and bring innovative solutions to the market.
The GrEEn Acceleration Programme has been a success in helping mature, green businesses to achieve their goals. It has provided them with the necessary support and funding to scale up their operations, create jobs, and contribute to the development of Ghana’s economy. Innohub and its partners are committed to continuing their efforts to support green businesses in Ghana and beyond.
