WAN-Hive Ghana Inaugurates New Office and Launches Two Initiatives to Mark 4-Year Milestone
WAN-Hive Ghana has reached a significant milestone, celebrating its 4th anniversary with the inauguration of a new office and the launch of two innovative initiatives. Under the theme “Her Space, Her Voice, Her Future: Defining Her Path Forward,” the event highlighted WAN-Hive’s commitment to empowering women, fostering innovation, and creating inclusive opportunities for leadership and growth.
The celebratory ceremony brought together partners, stakeholders, and community members who gathered to reflect on WAN-Hive’s transformative journey. A representative of the Vice Chancellor of the University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) delivered the keynote address, praising the organization’s impactful work. “WAN-Hive stands as a beacon of hope for young women, championing innovation and community development. As an alumna of UENR, its CEO is an inspiration to our students,” the representative remarked.
In her speech, WAN-Hive Ghana’s CEO, Janat Issifu, reflected on the hub’s journey of growth and transformation. “What began as a vision to provide women with tools, resources, and networks to build meaningful careers and ventures has grown into a movement,” she stated. “This new office symbolizes the dreams we nurture, the voices we amplify, and the futures we are shaping together.”
Launch of Groundbreaking Initiatives
A key highlight of the event was the unveiling of two new initiatives designed to empower innovators and entrepreneurs:
- Addiz Creatives
A specialized fashion hub offering professional workspace, equipped with modern machines and tools to support designers, particularly in underserved communities. Addiz Creatives also provides training programs to bridge the gap between passion and profession for aspiring fashion designers. - WAN-Hive Multimedia
A creative space featuring advanced facilities such as a 3D printer maker space, photography studio, graphic design services, and printing solutions. This initiative aims to equip innovators with tools to bring their creative ideas to life.
State-of-the-Art Facilities
The newly inaugurated office is designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and leadership. It includes modern training rooms, co-working spaces, and resources tailored to meet the needs of women entrepreneurs and innovators. The space will host training programs, mentorship sessions, and community engagement activities, furthering WAN-Hive’s mission to drive sustainable development.

The event concluded with a tour of the new facilities and a networking session where participants shared ideas and explored potential partnerships.
