The Chief Executive Officer for the Nation Youth Authority Ghana, Pius Enam Hadziede has reiterated the government’s commitment to ensuring a formidable youth front as far as entrepreneurship is concerned.
According to him, the Akufo Addo-led NPP Gover4nment is more concerned about youth’s involvement in entrepreneurship hence resourcing the National Youth Authority in achieving them.
He made the disclosure whiles speaking as a panelist in a panel discussion on the role of the NYA in youth entrepreneurship at the just ended Young Entrepreneurs Summit which was organized by the Ghana Startup Network at the Africa Trade House in Accra under the theme Amplify the voice and support of young women and SME business AfCFTA implementation.
The summit was to seek motivation from already made business moguls and inspire the young startups on the way to go, the challenges, the fun times, and everything a startup needs to become successful.
Mr. Hadzide outlined certain programs and innovations being championed through his outfit by the government in the form of training, funding, workshops amongst others. These interventions by the government according to the NYA boss are a way to motivate young ones to venture into entrepreneurship to help ease the pressure on the government payroll.
