Agrico Hub trains 30 MSMEs in Ecommerce in Techiman

Agrico Hub trains 30 MSMEs in Ecommerce in Techiman

As part of the Digitalization and Entrepreneurship for Local Economic Development Program 30, small business owners (MSMEs) have successfully completed 3weeks of intensive training in Ecommerce in Techiman to enable them to adopt and use eCommerce platforms to promote their products and services. 

The program was conducted in partnership with GIZ Ghana under the digital transformation center program aimed at promoting Digitalization in rural communities. 

Participants after the training expressed their appreciation to Agrico Hub and GIZ. Representatives from the Association of Small Scale Industries (ASSI) recounted the benefits this training will innure to the promotion of local businesses in Techiman and the Bono East region. 

The 30 trainees who successfully completed the training were given a certificate of completion from the 3weeks eCommerce training program. 

To ensure inclusion, persons with disabilities were also given the opportunity to participate in the training. In all, about 5 persons with disabilities joined the training. 

Agrico Hub as a premier regional Hub is committed to promoting Digital Transformation among women, youth, and the marginalized to participate in the Digital economy. 

In all over 230 women, youth, and business owners have so far been trained in various digital and Startup Skills in Atebubu, Techiman, Krobo, Fiaso and Nkoranza.
