The anticipation is building as GhanaThink Foundation, a pioneer in community-driven initiatives, gears up for a major gathering of awesome youth in Kasoa. the #KasoaKonnect Meetup. Scheduled for Saturday, October 28, 2023, this transformative event will run from 6PM to 9PM, bringing together the community’s brightest minds to address the critical issue of air quality and air pollution – dubbed #CleanAirGhana.
Hosted at the welcoming and vibrant venue, Pizzaman – Chickenman in Kasoa, the Kasoa Konnect Meetup promises an evening of enlightenment, inspiration, and actionable insights. Attendees will delve into the challenges of air quality in Ghana and the indispensable role each individual plays in achieving cleaner air.

This is part of a project run by GhanaThink funded by Clean Air Fund named Galvanizing Youth Advocacy to Tackle Air Pollution Project. It is raising awareness of the impacts of and solutions to air pollution in youth discussion forums, identifying and nurturing air quality champions in existing youth climate movements and supporting youth advocacy to demand implementation of existing air pollution legislation, policy and plans.
The #KasoaKonnect Meetup will explore essential topics, such as the effectiveness of environmental policies, the correlation between air quality and public health, the success of community initiatives, and practical steps individuals can take to foster a cleaner environment.
