GIPC HOSTS INTER AGENCY DIALOGUE
Ghana Investment Promotion Center in partnership with the Ghana Cocobod AfCFTA cocoa consumption committee hosted an inter-agency dialogue session. The focus of the session was on free zone taxes on Ghana’s cocoa products.
In the opening remark of the session, the CEO of GIPC in the person of Yovfi Grant touched on the importance of taking meaningful steps to develop and improve Ghana’s position in the global value change.
In the course of his remarks, he highlights the role of the dialogue in identifying how the bureaucratic brick walls can be reduced to advance the nation’s cocoa products.
At the session was the CEO of Ghana Free zone authority, representatives of the ministry of trade, ministry of finance, Ghana, Cocobod, cocoa marketing company, COVAAC, AfCFTA, and Gepa,
Also, the representative of the Ghana Revenue Authority( custom division) artisanal chocolate producers such as Gablin foods and Delfi ventures were also present
