GCYE Empowers Young Entrepreneurs with Inclusive Business Training in Kumasi

Entrepreneurship in Ghana is entering a new era — one where innovation goes hand in hand with inclusion and sustainability. As young people across the country continue to build businesses that shape the future of Africa, one key question arises: how do we ensure that growth benefits not just entrepreneurs, but entire communities?
This September, the Ghana Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs (GCYE) is providing the answer. In partnership with 2SCALE and Youth Dashboard, GCYE is hosting a Capacity Building Workshop on Impact Drives Returns (IDR) & National Inclusive Business Strategy from 1st – 4th September 2025 at the Sweet Pee Hotel, Kentinkrono – Kumasi.
This program will equip GCYE Regional Leads, Ambassadors, and Local Advocates with the skills and strategies needed to champion impact-driven entrepreneurship and advance inclusive business initiatives across Ghana.
Why Inclusive Business Matters for Ghana and Africa
Across Africa, businesses are proving that profitability and positive social impact are not mutually exclusive. Inclusive business models — which integrate underserved communities into the value chain — are becoming a powerful tool for growth.
In Ghana, where a youthful population is brimming with innovation and creativity, embracing Impact Drives Returns (IDR) ensures that business growth is sustainable, scalable, and beneficial to all. For young entrepreneurs, mastering inclusive strategies is not just a competitive advantage — it’s a necessity for long-term success.
About the GCYE Workshop in Kumasi
The four-day program is designed to provide participants with practical tools to lead and drive inclusive business transformation. By focusing on IDR and the National Inclusive Business Strategy, the workshop will help young leaders and ecosystem advocates:
- Understand the core principles of impact-driven entrepreneurship.
- Learn strategies to embed inclusion into business operations.
- Develop advocacy skills to champion national-level entrepreneurial initiatives.
- Build a stronger network of peers and stakeholders committed to sustainable development.
Who Will Benefit?
The workshop primarily targets GCYE Regional Leads, Ambassadors, and Local Advocates, but the impact will reach much further. By equipping these representatives with the right tools and knowledge, the program ensures a multiplier effect across Ghana.
Each participant becomes a catalyst in their community — training, mentoring, and supporting other young entrepreneurs who aspire to build impactful ventures.
